My girlfriend loves going to yard sales and lucky for me, unfortunate for her, I can schedule my time just right to where something always comes up and I can't go with her! A few months ago she finally talked me into going but I put up a fight and gave it a valent effort any man would be proud of but when we were done I was damn glad I went! I got a polished aluminum Barnett Commando crossbow! I had a Commando way back when and it was a cool crossbow but I've never seen a polished one! I took it home, polished it up and you can see for yourself it's one killer looking Commando!!!

The commando shoulder model's (not the pistol model) is rated at 150 or 175 lbs. They're notable for having an unusual break action cocking mechanism.

Savatreatabvr, from one archer to another: get that center serving repaired or the string replaced. It doesn't look too good.

I wished I knew, I'm assuming it's 150lb. I picked up another aluminum Barnett crossbow at the same yard sale, the Commando is obviously identifiable but the other one had no markings but I think it has a 220lb prod, see pics:







The Commando prod is on top of pic #3 so you can see the difference in the sizes and shapes!
