The signs vary in size, the BIG highway ones can have 48' x 24' pieces !!!! One buddy put a black backed one (if the backfrop of the sign is black they usually use black tarp to save ink $$) on his roof and white all around just after framing and sheeting, he left it like that for years, looked like a stucco house with a shinlged blac roof.
