Just out of curiosity, I'll be interested to hear your opinions on the course. The web site doesn't mention any pre-requisites (the Saint John Ambulance courses either require a current Standard First Aid certificate, or combine the two courses into a 3-day course). This looks more like a Standard Red Cross course with a couple of wilderness first aid components added in.

I'm not trying to discourage you; for $75 and two full days of instruction, it looks like a pretty good deal. But it doesn't look significantly different from a regular first aid course, to me. So I'll be curious to see what your impressions are.
