Thanks

or maybe we don't like cpm-m4 anymore? It seem like m4 is the fav as long as you deal with possible corrosion issues

CPM M4 is still a well-regarded high carbon tool steel steel. The M4 RSK Mk1's were a limited run, so don't foresee doing more in M4, even though we get a lot of requests.

It is our policy, the result of unfortunate experience, not to discuss future product plans. Sorry.

I'm thinking of something more in the area of a high-power laser.

It could cut, start fires, signal, and even take out inter-continental ballistic missiles, if needed.

IMO S35VN is a slight (evolutionary) improvement and eventually it will probably supplant S30V as manufacturer stocks of S30V run out. Check with Benchmade to see when they expect to start transitioning.

Chris Reeve has already transitioned the Sebenza to S35VN, but he's still using S30V for the Umnumzaan until his supply of those blades runs out. FWIW $.02
