It would be interesting to have an accounting of how much damage and how many deaths are attributed to just plain stupid people.
Depends where you draw the line. If you exclude smokers, drinkers, druggies, bad drivers, "poor choices"/Darwin candidates, I believe you come up with approximately 17 deaths annually in the US.
Yes, slightly tongue-in-cheek, but we can't cure "stupid."
