The two most common ways are to saute them, or season and wrap in foil, and bake.
If you're in survival mode, try to find some clay, flatten out some clumps of it, and wrap the fish with it, pinching the seams. Cook in the coals. Remember that fish doesn't usually take as long to cook as other meats.
