I was thinking of getting a pair of underwater based goggles to use along with my Half mask as well BUT you cannot use anything with a nose piece included in the design. This leaves out most scuba based goggles and leaves you with more common pool goggles. They may not be made for the purpose but Im sure for the price difference between a full face mask and a half mask + goggles I would be happier with the Swimming goggles instead of just the half mask.


With swimming goggles, its best if you can try before you buy. I can’t stand that style of goggles because they seem to dig into my eye sockets, but I guess if its emergency use only its not so bad ? You can buy proper Smoke Resistant Goggles which are generally quite comfortable and are resistant to heat; they are similar in design to ski goggles. These are intended to be worn “all day” and are used by people fighting fires. They’re not too expensive approx $20+P&H, but will be more bulky than those swimming goggles.
