...when I had the barrel of mine work itself loose when I was out hunting one day. I noticed it was steadily loosing accuracy when - on a fluke - I grabbed the barrel and pulled it completely out of the receiver! It's since been 'fixed' by my gunsmith (a heavy barrel screwed in to the now threaded receiver), but that incident taught me a number of important lessons about equipment I take out in the field.

This wasn't an abused or battered gun BTW, and could still pass for 'new', other than the now oversized barrel. Shots pretty good though.
