I am looking for input on my EDC. I live in a pretty rural area (10 miles from nearest town); travel into town daily; occasional trips to the city – 20 to 50 miles; frequent “pull-overs” hopping on the Appalachian Trail…My kits have to cover both urban and wilderness needs but I like to keep an emphasis on “lightweight” and “no-bulk” carry. The following is a list of my current EDC which all fits nicely into any jeans or 5.11 pants I may be wearing, without bulging or any hint of anything in my pockets (that’s the way I like it !!). I do not like anything hanging from my belt - no pouches, etc. (not even a "Wave") - I enjoy a very inconspicuous carry. I would appreciate any comments or helpful hints. I feel that I have the basics covered and I am never too far from my car which contains another full kit of goodies that I won’t cover in this post; I just want to cover the basics carried on my person. As I look over this list I feel like there is alot of redundancy (but can you ever have enough first-aid supplies, knives, or fire starters?? Any input, thoughts, and ideas would be greatly appreciated.
