I was telling my rail crew about this last night, and they didn't believe that someone had come up with an idea so weird.

Had an analogous experience-hospital dietitian was dancing in the hallway, celebrating the successful liquefaction of a cheeseburger, part of his quest to provide a flavorful option to patients on a full liquid diet. Previously, flavors were limited to...well...carnation instant breakfast. It was reminiscent of how a well-chewed cheeseburger tastes, but as a rule, whatever it is that causes a patient to be on a full liquid diet over an extended period is so annoying and depressing that food and flavor is just not an issue. On the other hand, Dr Pepper always tasted like prunes to me, and remains popular-de gustibus non est disputandum.

I guess in a sense, meatwater already existed:

It's called beef/chicken/etc broth :P
Frankly if it doesn't taste like that, I'm suspicious.

"Dr Pepper always tasted like prunes to me".

Funny, because I've always told my in-laws(they drink the stuff by the gallon a day)that I always thought it tasted like hopped-up prune juice.

Maybe Meatwater was invented to combat the effects of V-8 vegetable juice or maybe the carnivores are angry because the vegivores are getting all the limelight? whistle

Sounds disgusting and I'll never be trying Meatwater. sick
