I have now sent mails to both bestglide as well as essentialgear about this.
Small, high quality gadgets are a favourite of mine and I was really looking forward to test one of these and eventually include it in my mini-kit.

I got a prompt reply from Carrie Purcell, Customer Service Specialist at eGear/Essential Gear, Inc. and she said:
