Plenty to think about, but fluoride isn't one of them. Yes, in massive quantities, its toxic, but you would have to eat the whole tube. In small quantities, say in toothpaste or water, its beneficial.

Some other things that are toxic when ingested inappropriately:

* Salt
* Vitamins
* Water
* Cheese doodles
* Snow Shovels


Moderation. And research. And moderation.

Adding to the list of things that are beneficial in moderation, but dangerous/damaging in excess:

Heat
Alcohol (ingestion)
Other people's children
Mother-in-laws

I was going to say "Outdoor gear", but I'm not ready to admit that there is such a thing as too much ... yet.

Wasn't there a CSI that had the dead person committing suicide by literally eating several tubes of high fluoride tooth paste? She was a dental tech in the show, and wanted to blame hubby for her suicide. I realize that's TV, but doubt Mythbusters can replicate this legend.

I think I'm going to test the too many cheese doodles theory. How many is too much? I like cheese doodles, so do the cats.
