My favorite SAK is a Vic Huntsman, but my EDC is a hunter green Classic with a stainless steel shamrock on the scale instead of the Vic cross.

From their website: All Victorinox knives are high carbon, stainless, first grade, A-quality stainless steel, x 50 CrMo. They are tempered to a 55-56 HRC hardness for optimum edge retention.

Byrd, thanks for the link, that was interesting. I also watched the video on how axes are made and did not realize that it is a 2 day job just to make one axe (hatchet).

That was a good video. I have an Estwing hatchet or two in my blade collection. I don't actually use them, but with the included oakleaf-embossed leather sheath, they are pretty cool. Thanks for posting the video.
