Careful with the digging around mud, friend of mine stuck his john deere TLB while digging out a pond recently. Tractor slid back while using the backhoe. The backhoe kept pushing into the mud and he could not self extract. Wound up needing another tractor to pull it out. Fortunately he also has a Kubota.

But keep having fun with the tractor grin

Luckily I can lift the entire tractor off the ground with the backhoe to place boards/etc under the tires to drive out if i was in a VERY bad position. I was able to use the backhoe to lift and reposition though for self-recovery when I got stuck.

Trust me I was thinking about how I was going to pull out a 9k pound tractor, even with my F250 Diesel 9k pounds of dead weight + mud suction would be tricky!

The creek slowed a bit today for sure, but is still flowing, and I can really hear it flow on my deck.
