Agreed. I have frequently hiked/backpacked & hunted alone and continue to do so. Other activities get dramatically more dangerous solo. Travel over glaciers, cayoneering, and a number of other activities too frequently create conditions where the solo adventurer is at a HUGE disadvantage.
