I would welcome snow any way I could get it! I have the snowshoes cleaned up, the cross country skis ready and the downhill skis are set as well. The snow is usually about 140 miles, uphill from here, This year there is little to none so far. I remember going ski touring on Halloween before and these days almost no snow all winter.

I have seen the thundersnow thing before and it was at the top of a ski lift and while no one was overly concerned, I made for the bottom of the hill ASAP. Being the highest point it a few hundred miles is not safe in a thunderstorm. Cheers!
