I did a simple search for previous posts on this and found nothing. So . . . Anyone used one of these?

TMT Wallets

Expensive but a pretty cool case for a pocket kit. I'd consider it for a wallet, but I'd like to see one, or at least get some feedback before laying out $85 or $125.

Never heard of it, never seen it. I guess that answers your question.

I sure have my opinion though, if you want that!

I have seen it on the interwebs before. I like the idea of carrying a compass, but gosh, I wouldn't want to sit on that thing.

That said, if you buy one, tell me how you like it and if you sit on it, how it is.

Looks kinda cool, I guess.

But for $125 I bet I could buy a Vic Climber (and put plus scales on it) or a Compact for the tweezers, toothpick and pen (or buy them just as spare parts for about $12), a 20mm compass, and a small Otter or Pelican case. And still have some cash left over.

A zip-loc bag is a somewhat cheaper alternative for waterproofing a wallet. It has worked for me numerous times and it is easy to sit on.

Wow, pricey.

$85 for the Delrin 'Sport' model; $125 for the aluminum 'Tactical' model. The later model coming in at 7.4 ounces, a bit less than half a pound. The former 2.4 ounces. Seems to me that the capacity of those things is quite small. Being rigid means it won't expand to accommodate extra stuff. I can easily stuff in extra credit cards, magnifier, condoms, whatever, and my wallet just gets a little thicker.

If it remember right I got my wallet for $6 on sale. A unremarkable nylon thing that has served for ... what ... something like 25 years? Maybe a bit longer. Doesn't seem to be on its last legs so its probably good for another 20.

I'm not sure how a rigid wallet would work for me. I break mine out every six months or so and get rid of all the excess to keep it thin and flexible. Sitting on an overstuffed wallet is hard on the back.

Here again if a rigid wallet works for you, and you have $85/125 to spare I think you have found your perfect wallet.

If you are worried about being scanned,Pieces of Aluminum foil will take care of that,Works just like Chaff,& Costs less than a buck! The TMT costs more than an Alligator/Snake skin wallet,& I'll bet it doesn't fit a Back pocket of 501's very Comfortably Either!

Oh, you apparently have me figured incorrectly. Saw an ad for it in a gun mag and thought it was cool but not $85 cool. I'm thinking if I could get it for <$20 I might check it out as a case for a pocket kit. I don't like the idea of sitting on a rigid box all day either but my wallet tends to get George Costanzaish from time to time so may not be that different from what is going on now anyway. Really just wondering if any of you had one?
