In Northern Ontario. I had made a bad investment (and lost my job) and had to recover quickly. I was literally dirt poor and had to survive on my preps on 10 acres of land I still owned. I only had enough money for 1 tank of fuel to make it to the city and back. I had to wait until I had a REAL good chance at a job before I was going to use up my final reserve.

The land was pretty much in the middle of nowhere and a drought defeated the stream.

Did you know that you can make rocking Timbits by simply boiling flour balls in cooking oil then rolling them in an icing sugar and cinnamon mix? How can anything with 4 ingredients be so Yummy?
I survived on them for about a little over a month (with multivitamins and foraging etc). Although, back then my foraging skills sucked.
