Anyone have the whereabouts of a softside belt pouch approx. 8" wide x 6" tall x 2" deep that is waterproof?<br><br>

Can you use a non-waterproof pouch and waterproof the contents with a liner such as a ziplock or vacuum packaging? That would open up a lot of possibilities for belt pouches or waist packs from camping outfitters. <br><br>Otherwise I would look to suppliers of canoeing and kayaking equipment for a dry bag that might meet your needs.<br><br>

I almost ordered one mail order, but when I saw it in the store, it seemed disappointingly awkward.. maybe it's not, in use.<br><br>Many REI stores carry them- because it's not rectangular, even though the nominal size is 8 x 7, I'd want to check it in person to make sure it actually holds what you intend to carry.<br><br><br>
