What we are missing is information, specific and precise as to initial development of the search, the location of the shed, her movements, etc. Information that is critical to critiquing an operation is almost always omitted from the typical media coverage
Searches take as long as they take, even competent operations that get into action quickly and follow well conceived strategies. The toughest part is trying to get inside the mind of the victim and deduce his/her actions.
I have had a lot of experience in SAR and you would be amazed at how long it can take me to find my EDC some mornings.....
