The plane has now been missing for a week with four aboard. It doesn't look good. An extensive search has detected no signs, but there are many places where the vegetation could "swallow" the plane.
Basically, it is a core ETS survival situation, if any of the occupants survived the landing. The situation gets my attention, because I have taken many similar NPS flights (in California, not Alaska).
If the same policies are in effect that were in place in the 1990s, everyone aboard had taken a mandated air related survival course.
