There are lots and lots of Mora 2000 reviews out there. Both text-based and videos. Just search on "Mora 2000 knife". It is pretty universally praised.
I agree that the price seems high for a Mora - that's why I never actually owned one until now. Oh, and that green color too.
The biggest difference between the #2000/#2010 and the other Moras is the tip grind and its noticeably wider blade. Honestly not sure its worth the extra cost.
My advice to a newbie would be to buy one of the $15 Moras (my own preference is the #746 - because I prefer the larger handle (you know what they say ... big hands ... big handle). Then save your pennies for an Mk3.
Still, I have to say, I do like the blade on the #2010.
