That said, if I were a taxpayer in the area I'd be fairly upset they used a helicopter! At at least hundreds of dollars an hour to operate I would have preferred they called the cop that was with them, asked if anyone was hurt or cold and if the answer to both was "no" told them to hunker down and figure it out at sunrise! That'd teach 'em, and if someone had a lighter or some matches it might even be fun!
