Thanks, that info is particular relevant for me in California. There are about one hundred survival books to buy on Amazon.com. This free reference looks to be more relevant for my particular situation.

Based on your link, I discovered that there are free CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) courses throughout California. I plan to take a course in August. cool

That pdf file you posted ireckon is pretty sweet. A very nice guide that covers all the bases for the area concerned in a compact and easy to understand package.
