"hands, feet, teeth" murders jumped 133.3%In 2007, statewide, guns were the most common weapon in intimate partner homicide. In 2008, it was knives/cutting/blunt instruments.
The New York state Division of Criminal Justice Services reports should be mined for more data and trends.
