hey all!

quick query for you all.

I am currently in Barcelona taking a course and will be finished on June 18th. My flight leaves out of Paris on the 30th, but being the reckless and boisterous fellow I am, I've decided I'm just gonna try my hand at hitchhiking up there...sooooo, I'm in need of a good (read; cheap) sleeping bag and tent for the trip. in all honesty, the chances of me HAVING to sleep outside are nil, because most people can cover the distance in a day (700km). but, I'm pretty sure sleeping in a field in south france is about the best idea i've ever had, so it will be on my terms (more or less, and i'll be able to stock up on food and warm stuff ahead of time.

oh yea, i'd REALLY like to try my hand at hammock-ing during the trek...

so, anyone know of any good, fiscally responsible, european camping stores that will ship to barcelona in 7-10 days?

oh, you'll be very upset, but i gave my firestarter, whistle and compass to a girl who was going to hike the atlas mountians in morocco for a few weeks...the girl is a nut i tells ya! haha.

I'm sure there should be a few reputable stores in and near Barcelona - go find them. Then you don't have to worry about shipping being delayed and so on.

Sounds like you'll have great fun on your trip - take care and enjoy your adventure smile

You could probably get by with a good blanket and poncho.
Oh, and I moved this thread over to Around the Campfire.

Good luck and have fun!
