Apologies if I missed it, but is there any plan to update the SHOT show report? I know it goes slow but it has been a couple of months - and I usually really enjoy the reviews

I believe you are the first to speak about the elephant in the room. IMHO Doug's input in the site is waning. Probably there are good reasons for that. I also feel that the forum is slowly drifting to survivalism.

Nah, people are just stressed about the crazy economy, and that's an undertone in many threads. Also, the granola greenies like me are too busy planting gardens and planning summer trips to goof around online. Things will balance out.

Didn't intend to make a commentary on the site overall - just wanted to know whether it was worth continuing to check the report for updates!

Don't know anything about if or when those reviews will come online, but my impression is that Doug Ritter is pretty good at posting in this forum whenever he has put something new out at the web.

I only keep on eye on this forum, which has worked out pretty much OK so far.

Possibly, but the moderators seem to do a reasonable job of shepherding the site. Doug is around, but he seems to believe in an old Klingon saying that goes "If you don't want it heard, don't say it....."

Or perhaps he simply doesn't have anything to say?

The shot show report hasnt been done totally in a couple of years. At least the past two, possibly three. I would suggest looking somewhere else.

The man has to make a living and gets nothing for his contributions here. A pity a lot of the ones he did were knive reviews. one thing we aren't short of here.
