Neither governments nor big businesses really look ahead or plan ahead. They always go with knee-jerk reactions and short-term plans, never looking down the road in either years or how people and businesses will be affected in the long run.

Governments always try to shift the blame and confuse the issues, and big businesses (like BigOil) have enough money and enough power in politics that they know they will never have to pay ALL the bills.

I guess they'll have to raise our taxes to pay the bills.

Too bad, so sad.
