I may have the opportunity to move to Tallahassee, FL in a few months, depending on DW 's career choices. I have never lived on a subtropic sea shore, and would appreciate any advice regarding housing selections (would like to live in the country, with an acre or two, have reservations about living south of town near the shore due to cost, and temporary nature of coastal landforms), lifestyle, gun ownership.
