A friend of mine carries a beautiful self-made small neck knife. Inside the sheet it looks like a piece of jewelry composed of wood, leather and metal. My wife also has a jewelry knife which is a traditional Scandinavian type knife except it is very small.
Does stuff in your pocket count? I guess not... if you hide it in your pocket I guess it's not jewelry anymore. Hopefully, leatherman neckwear will become fashionable some day...
Oh, and I'm a big fan of analog watches, but that's just because I can read the hands on a dial that waaay faster than any digital numbers - and they look much better, too (so amazingly primitive they still think digital watches is a neat idea...). But the compass thing is a bit overrated, IMO. If I know what time it is and see the sun I can usually work out the rest. I doubt I could improve the accuracy very much by fussing with sticks, shadow and the face of my watch.
