IMHO the swiss-tool is worth its value. I myself use the Wave but I had the chance to try and use the swiss tool. It is sturdy and strong but I find it less practical to use than the Wave for myself. At the end it is all personal choice. I think both are worth the money you pay for them.

As far as I know the bid-set can be used with the rescue tool and it is sold seperatly for both tools.
