It will drop, but not before sending some noise and spikes through the $$$ electronics boxes. I'd want to see it on a 'scope before putting it on my car.
I guess I need to add a disclaimer. Do NOT hook up 100 AA's to your car. It was a metaphor, I didn't think anyone would actually try it. Maybe I should have said watch batteries to be on the safe side. Even so, if connected to a 12V car battery my guess is you wouldn't see much.
