IMHO.
The sparks out of this one may be not very good because the spark wheel and the flint may be worn and/or dirty/oily. So, I'd clean the wheel and reverse the flint to expose the fresh side prior to re-installation.

The spark-lite is definitely lighter and smaller than mini-Bic. This conversion on the other side looks friendlier to a bigger hand and also have a nice storage compartment (not necessarily for a tinder). I can see its benefits for some situations.
