I too picked up the sale-priced Powerlock from Lowes. If these really are made of foreign components and labelled as Made in USA, they better watch out. Leatherman changed the wording on their tools because they are assembled in the USA from some foreign components (files and corkscrews from Europe, plier jaws from Mexico, other tools, finish, and assembly in USA). They got sued over it in California.

I haven't put it through its paces yet, but I like it. Won't replace my Charge, though, since I prefer to have some one-handed-open blades available.

If you are looking to pick up tools inexpensively and are OK with second-hand, search on Ebay for "airport seizure". I got a lot of Leatherman Squirt tools (2 P4, 2 S4) shipped for less than the cost of one new.
