Not exactly EDC but I usually have a liter bottle of water near me. It used to be a bottled water container. I am too cheap to buy one, so I have kept a few liter containers for such use.

I don't see any real benefit to spending money when something that is free will serve the purpose just as well.

I have been using the same 4 one liter bottles for several years now, and they show no signs of needing replacement.

Three of them have frozen iced tea in them and one has frozen water. The water bottle and two bottles of tea go in my lunch bag every day.
