I like that tracker scout. Someone somewhere asked about small fixed blades for or in kits and I have been looking for small fixed under 6" for a while too. I have a review i found that I can post later, but it looks old and some of the links appear old and broken.

Take a look at Anza Knives. Their home page is: http://www.anzaknives.com/The T-1 is a nice, small blade. They have others in the same size range. I'm not sure which model I have, but it's about 6" long overall. It carries nicely in a leather pouch sheath, which I usually just drop in a pocket. My wife likes it, too, as a paring knife. I had to get a bunch of new Victorinox parers & other kitchen utility blades (thus, filling the knife block), in order to recover my Anza from the kitchen. The blades are carbon steel, if that makes a difference. David

Not sure I've handled a TW (stands for "teeny weeny"), but I don't doubt the 4" length. Mine is along the lines of the #4, at around 6" overall. It only cost around $20 when I got it several years back. The product line has changed somewhat in the intervening years.
The TW intrigued me, but 4" is just too small for my hands. The 6" on the one I have is about the minimum for me, and I find an OAL of 7" works better.
Anza knives aren't particularly pretty, but they're tough, sharp, & a good value.

Hey paul, Er .... huh? "Bump" what? I don't get it. What did I miss? Anyway ... the URL you posted contains a Session ID that won't work for others to link with. Anybody who wants to see it can try http://www.toolshop.de/e/shop/ instead. Then, do a Quick Search for "Puma Rattler". It sure is a pretty knife! Thanks, Paul. Stay safe, J.T.

I like a small fixed blade for a number of purposes. Gene Ingram makes some nice designs in small blades (from 1.5" up). Here is my Ingram family, the 2 small Pocket models, one with micarta scales and the other naked are real nice for a kit or pocket. The others range up to 4.5". His starting prices are in the $120 range so a very nicely made custom can be had for a very good value. ![](http://outdoors.free.fr/images/Schwert_IngramFamily.jpg) Ingram is also making a new model that is a bit bigger called an SLK. I have one on order. It will look like this: Ingram photo

With a display case like that, who the hell cares about the knives!

I think that this CRKT Fixed Falcon is a bit bigger than what you have in mind (6 inches total length). I Still have this one available for trade. PM me if interested.

What knives?
I don't see a knife "case" in the photo. I do, however, see a rack.
Gotta love the Martian camouflage.

yeah
I hear the custom knife makers get all the girls, right after the NASCAR Drivers.
Now I know which booths you two will be circling at any given convention.
