Woke up and felt fine then ate and sat down to drink some tea and watch a little TV before getting to work. Within 10 minutes I felt like my head was going to explode, and it got worse throughout the day... now it kills me to swallow even water, I ache all over, and have a 100.5*F fever.

Apparently going to town once a week this last week has caught me something that hit VERY fast, and sudden. No symptoms prior.

Is this how the `new` flu is hitting or did I finally lose my battle with something I was unaware I was fighting. ?

Off to bed early!

Take two aspirin and check back in the morning.

Seriously, I hope you are OK.
