rafowell Enthusiast Registered: 11/29/09 Posts: 261 Loc: Southern California	( This was four months ago, but I didn't see it on these forums, and I'm always looking for examples of successful use of signal mirrors) Two Michigan hikers were rescued on 8/12/2009 after about 24 hours when they signaled a rescue helicopter with a signal mirror in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area near Vail, Colorado. The two hikers weren't even out long enough to build up national interest before they blew it by signaling a SAR helo on the first day of the search. Search teams didn't even get a good work-out. I'm surprised it made it past the editor -- musta' been a slow news day. _________________________ Better is the Enemy of Good Enough. Okay, what’s your point??
