I'm going on a tour around Spain and was wondering about the local attitude towards cutting instruments. Do I bring my 4 inch SAK of Slaying for those hardcore fruits and vegetables, or buy disposable on site?

Also, general Spain feedback is welcome.

You need a legal reason for carrying, blade length must be under 10 cm (4 inch is just above that, so a smaller version could be a good idea). Fixed blades need to be carried out of reach. Automatic opening knives and butterfly knives are illegal. So are knives with "agressive" appearance (e. g. daggers, carambits, fantasy knives) or knives that appear to be other things (e. g. pen).

Places to see in Spain - Granada, Toledo, Seville, Segovia, Avila. Surprisingly, Madrid is not tht interesting, with the exception of the Prado museum if you like art. I don't know northern Spain, so can't make any suggestions. Granada has the Alhambra - fantastic! The whole city of Toledo is like a museum, you can walk across Toledo in 30 or 40 minutes.

A great country to tour.

barcelona, on spain's northeastern mediterranean coast, has the prettiest and most interesting street in europe - the ramblas.
