With the recent passing of Knut Haugland I was reminded of the incredible story of "The Heroes of Telemark" and the great documentary made by Ray Mears.

Having only put in about 30km on my skis this week I feel like such a slacker.

This story is absolutely fascinating. Sabotaging the plant at Vemork, Telemark was done to prevent the German Nazi regime from developing nuclear capacity.
