Karesuando is a really tiny town way in the north of Swedish Lappland right at the meeting of the borders of Sweden, Norway and Finland. Among several interesting things, there is a knife factory owned by "Samhall", which produces mainly Lapp Puukos using traditional materials & styles. The knives are of very good quality and the designs are beautiful, even if they are intended for real world use. And they ARE sharp!!

Almost every town in Lappland (Sapmi) has some local artist who makes knives of the highest quality- not for cheap though, but are worth having a look and drool over them.
