Bill and Allen were hiking in the mountains. When they stopped to take a break, Bill sat down on a rock and was promptly bitten in the backside by a large rattlesnake. Fighting to remain calm, he told Allen to run into town for help.

Allen sprinted into town, found the doctor, and explained that his friend had been bitten by a rattlesnake. "What should we do?" Allen asked. The doctor told him to make a shallow X-shaped incision on each fang mark and suck out the venom.

Allen ran back to where Bill was waiting. Bill asked him, "What did the doctor say?"

Allen replied, "He said you're gonna die."
