The other morning before a meeting at the factory a nice lady I know came in with a hoarse voice, barely able to talk. I at first assumed bronchitis (I had it last year) and stayed back a little, but it turned out the poor woman had
accidentally inhaled a sewing needle while working on a project at home. She had the needle in her mouth to keep her hands free and lost track of what she was doing.
She's fine and almost 100% better, but the experience left her pretty shaken.
So a friendly reminder for everybody to be careful with the sewing kit whether at home or caught out in the bush already in harm's way. I never put the needle in my mouth...
Merry Christmas and stay safe everybody!
