Flashaholic? Me?

Could NOT be, as I actually allowed a stash of 10 flashlights to hit the dumpster today when cleaning out Dad's place (ray-o-vac 2D mechanics lights, most with chips, cracks or downright grungy)

I was thinking how many are in the car right now and came up with 4, 2 Surefires, and a pair of Maglights. Of course, when I'm in the car, there is the ARC-AA on the keyring (Boy - has tech increased since those days, eh?), an EDC65 in my front left pocket (I remember when I got it - a pocket once cell at 65 Lumens - wow. Today - yawn, but have seen no reason to upgrade), plus the Arc LS (see above), the Tigerlight 501W, and another surefire in my jump bag, plus a mere 10-12 CR123s stashed in the truck, along with a bunch of AAs

I insist I do NOT have a problem, as I had NOT bought a light in like 2+ years till I just bought the tigerlight

In addition to the two flashlights on my person and the three within arm's reach in my laptop bag as I type this, I have no less than nine flashlights in the BOB I keep in my car: Two SO-LEDs (one red, one white), two fauxtons, another keychain coin cell light, two Fenix E01s, an Energizer headlamp, and a Fenix P2D 1x123 flashlight, with an L1D (1xAA) body. I also have a red filter and a white diffuser for the P2D. Not to mention twelve CR123A batteries and twelve Energizer Lithium AA batteries.

I'll run out of food and water way before I'll run out of lumens.

Denial is one of the first sign of a problem smile
But that's OK, the FAA meets on the 32nd of each month. Feel free to come to a meeting when you admit to yourself you need help wink
