Accuweather medium term forecast

The medium term weather forecast for the last two weeks in December/early January for central and eastern CONUS is being predicted to be as bad the Winter of 1970 in January. (when the all the talk was about the approaching ice age )
The result of the recent economic recession perhaps with the world wide CO2 output dropping by 5-8% in the last 12 months.

It might be prudent to have some alternative forms of heating and cooking i.e. LPG bottles and plenty of candles to get ready for the approaching winter storms especially with the state of the energy infrastructure distribution systems due to the lack of investment.

No doubt the computer hacker in Ulan Bator will get the blame.
