Hello. I've been lurking for a while and thought it ws only polite to introduce myself. I'm a soon-to-be-ex-student based in Leeds.
I've been interested in survival since I was quite young (although I didn't have a name for it then), but fortunately have never been in a situation where I have needed to survive (although the stuff I carry has often been very useful in non-emergency situations). Unfortunately, my skills (first aid, fire lighting etc are now very rusty.... this site has reminded me that I have to do something about that!)

Just to say these forums are great and I hope to have something to contribute in the future.
