This is adventureboy, I am in need of some help. My 13 year old brother who I will call "Neoman" is going in for heart surgery. He has had some congenital heart defects that were "fixed" when he was 2 and so this is a follow up procedure hopefully to fix the problem of a narrowed aorta. November 30 they are basically going to cut out the narrowed area and splice the aorta back together. So Please keep him and the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers. It would be much appreciated....

In the eleven years since your brother had surgery, what heart surgeons can accomplish for their patients has become even more incredible.

I have just prayed for you, your brother and your entire family and the surgeon(s) who will be operating.

What you are going through is a poignant reminder during the holiday season that the most important things in life, aren't things.

Its great that your family - and the doctors - have been tracking this and are taking care of things.
