Seems like we are all walking down the same road of essential kit to add to the LM case.

I use a Leatherman Tti, in the pockets I have a Fenix LOD light, a Ferro Rod and a small diamond knife sharpener. It does make it more difficult to insert the multi-tool with the case stuffed.

I second the Fenix E01 as an excellent keychain flashlight. In fact I just ordered eight of them on amazon.com as gifts for relatives both in the USA and abroad. $12.50 on amazon.

I plan on getting one of the maratac AAA LED flashlights mentioned above; been looking at them on countycomm.com for a couple of months.

After a long search, I just received my Victorinox survival kit from ebladestore.com.
I added a led light, ferrorod and whistle and will add a couple of hooks. Together with a space blanket and a quart-size ziplock bag for water, I believe makes a rather decent PSK. Of course a rucksack filled with goodies is better, but at least this kit won't be left behind!
