I looked at that the photo at the web site you posted and yes mine does look different. Mine appears to have more grooves which have a rounder bottom. Mine is quite comfortable. I can not address the comfort of the one you posted. As to the "improved" 3-way tail switch, mine aready has that feature, it works great.
