Thank you. I carry two wallets myself.

My wallets contain spare house and car keys, a P-38 can opener, a fresnel lens, a nylon kitchen scraper, Uncle Bill's Sliver Grippers (mini-tweezers), safety pins, paper clips, eight bandaids, four Neosporin packets, and two shower curtain clips.

I rarely have occasion to leave the house without my wallets, so I am somewhat prepared for whatever may await. In one place I worked, the building was new and its fire alarms would ring unpredictably. Always false alarms.

One time, after we did the necessary building evacuation, we were there were wiring problems and we should simply go home for the day. There was a great shout of protest because many had left their coats and purses inside, along with their car and house keys. I didn't have my coat, and yes it was winter, but I had my wallets, so I could hop in my car, go home, and get into my house.

You'd be amazed how many people balk at carrying spare keys. They'd rather chance it, they don't want the extra weight, they don't want to take the time to have spares made, that'll never happen, etc.
